Strong partners: KREATIVVITTI 2.0 & Pirmasenser Fototage
Creativity also ensures inspiring and innovative results in photography. Therefore the specialized fair Kreativvitti and the 6th Pirmasenser Fototage bundle existing synergies. Anyone who is enthusiastic about photographic art and would like to learn from professional photographers in workshops can look forward to the joint programme items.
Thus the Pirmasenser Fototage enrich the KREATIVVITTI 2.0
The sixth edition of the Pirmasenser Fototage will take place from 14th to 25th of November 2019 at selected locations, all of which are freely accessible. All who are interested in photography are cordially invited to experience how the city transforms itself into a stage for photographic art. The creative force behind the event is the professional photographer Harald Kröher from Pirmasens, who activates his entire network to create an exciting programme.
In addition to the Alte Post Forum, the Rheinberger building and other public spaces, Hall 6A at the Pirmasens Exhibition Centre is an important meeting point. There – connected to the Kreativvitti – various activities and events around photography take place. Multimedia shows take the audience on magical photo trips. And in workshops the invited professionals share tips and tricks from their photo practice. Beginners and advanced students can learn how professional timelapse recordings are made or how motifs can be captured artistically with a smartphone.
Fototage established as a permanent fixture
Nature and landscape photography – from the southwest Palatinate to South America – for example – is a thematic focus. But that’s not all: visitors can literally expand their horizons in all directions during the photo days. On 24th of November, the awarding of the ‚Ludwig‘ photo prize will be a glittering finale.
Since 2008 the Fototage has recorded a steady increase in the number of visitors. „In recent years, the event has established itself as a permanent fixture among national and international photographers as well as interested audiences,“ comments Dr. Bernhard Matheis, former Lord Mayor of Pirmasens. This year, the cooperation with Kreativvitti unfolds even more artistic potential.
